Firm Overview
Wix, Wenger & Weidner was formed in 1973 by Richard H. Wix and Thomas L. Wenger, who had been partners in other Harrisburg law firms. Dean A. Weidner, who had also been a partner in another Harrisburg law firm, joined the firm in 1975. Presently, the firm has
five shareholders, two associates and three attorneys of counsel. Eight of the attorneys are graduates of The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University in nearby Carlisle. The
firm has achieved an AV rating in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.
We maintain two offices, one in an historic section of downtown Harrisburg, and
a suburban office in Lower Paxton Township. Our downtown office is located within walking distance of the State Capitol, executive and legislative offices of the State government, and the Federal and Dauphin County Courthouses.
Our downtown office employs eight attorneys in the general practice of law with strong emphases on business, real estate, municipal, litigation, land use,
estate planning and administration and corporate law.
Our Lower Paxton office is staffed by two attorneys who practice primarily in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance defense litigation, and wills and estate administration.
We believe that prompt, personal and careful attention to our clients’ concerns is our first duty. We foster
close communication with our clients. Our goal is to serve our clients’ needs and objectives in a professional and efficient manner at a reasonable cost. Our firm enjoys an enviable reputation in the legal and business communities for
both professional excellence and integrity. Over the years we have dedicated our efforts to performing work of high quality in service of our clients’
needs, rather than a high volume or rapid turnover of cases and clients. Many of our principal clients have been associated with us for many years, and in some
cases for decades.
