Attorney David R. Getz concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate; Zoning,
Planning and Land Use; Condominium and Homeowner Associations; Business and Corporate Law; Business Planning; Estate Planning
and Administration; Civil Litigation; Employment Law; and Domestic Relations.
Mr. Getz is a graduate of Valley Forge Military College, Susquehanna University and
The
Dickinson School of Law. He was admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania state courts
in 1981, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle
District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. From
1982 to 1988, Mr. Getz was a member of the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. During this period, he was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky,
Sinai, Egypt and the JAG School in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Mr. Getz is a member of the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He is also a licensed Pennsylvania Title Insurance Agent.
Mr. Getz is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Harrisburg
Concert Band and the Mechanicsburg-North Rotary Club. He was a member of the
Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Class of 2001. Mr. Getz also served for four years
on the Hampden Township Planning Commission and eight
years on the Cumberland Valley School Board. He has participated in the Appellate Moot Court program at the Dickinson School of Law and is an
elder at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church. He and his family reside in Hampden
Township.
